Guest guest
Hey guys, Hey guys...if worried about your iodine intake....always remember that iodized salt is not are only choice here.....ALL Seafood is a natural and a healthy balanced source of our daily iodine. We eat seafood a minimum of SIX meals a week! Always rotating different kinds...trying to buy the healthiest forms...never with food coloring added. We eat fish, not always for Dinner either...we eat fish for Breakfast and lunch........yes a little different...but HEALTHY and the young kids don't know anybetter! We can't do the dextrose in salt because it is corn based (this may be true with many of us on this list serve...so beware if you have corn issues!)....We have lots of issues with corn/all grain in this house....will be searching for " real salt " or some of the other brands with iodine that have not dextrose. It is my personal opinion that all dextrose since it is derived from grain be taken out of this house......we do miserable with anything derived from grain (wheat/gluten....corn.....rice...all of it, grateful that SCDiet doesn't promote it!). A personal choice (not just because of SCDiet..... but also made from observation of my families sensitivity to GRAIN/corn........and so much more! Food for thought, Antoinette day 35 SCD (Celiac/multiple allergy/sensitivities /ASD and healing for the first time thanks to the SCDiet! No other way of eating has ever helped this Good!)
