Guest guest
Does it help? Does it actually work? Anyone had any good/bad experience with it? I going through a bad flare up yet again, just purchased some Claritin hoping it might help. Cheers.

The only thing that seems to be helping me are the fotofacial's I've been getting from a Dr. Bitter Jr. certified technician. I have had 3 treatments and the before and after photos really do show much improvement. I've ditched the zinco as it just tends to aggrevate my skin and cause more flareups, but do use the gold bond in the green bottle about 2-3 times a day. Initially, the GB leaves me a bit flushed, but the flushing dies down after about 5 minutes. My skin is as pale as it's ever been. I've scheduled 3 more fotofacial treatments (at $900 for a set of 3) starting in July, each 3 weeks apart. I'm extremely happy with the results, and encourage everyone out there who's trying every treatmeat under the sun, to keep things simple, trying a million different things just tended to make things worse. bdwilso2
Guest guest
Scowboy, Claritin is an anti-histamine, an H1 blocker, so if your flare is histamine-induced then it may help. The searchable archives may have limited messages on Claritin specifically but it should have a lot on anti-histamines or H1 blockers, since they're a hot topic in this group.
