Is doxycycline better than minocycline when it comes to ocular

symtoms. Also, last year I was on tetracycline for about two weeks

and it totally blocked my birth control pill. I actually had hot

flashes and night sweats and my rosacea got worse instead of better

because of all the hormonal fluctuations. I quess my other question

is...will the doxy or the mino also block my Birth control pill?

Goldie, I don't know that anyone has studied whether doxycycline or

minocycline is better for ocular symptoms, though I presume both

would work fine. Their effect on your birth control pills are good

questions to ask your gynecologist and pharmacist.
