Alternatives to Almond Flour

What should I use when baking if my kids cannot tolerate the almond

flour?

What happens when they eat it?

Behavior issue? Stool problems?

True allergy?

Pecans work well in all of the recipes that call for almond flour.

I tend to use a mix of nuts because I like the flavor better.
