Any suggestions to avoid getting windburned? I didn't

realize that you could get windburned in June, but

last weekend I did while attending an outdoor event on

the Niagara River.

I was wearing Clinique Super City Block (which I've

been using for over a week and love!) and a bit of

make-up but it was not a good enough barrier for the

wind by the River. During the winter I used Zinco,

and wore a scarf when outside for longer periods. Is

Zinco better protection against the wind? The wind

was cool last weekend, and it was cloudy and rainy.

The people I work for (and with) hold many events on

the river, some are for fun, and others are work

related and my attendance would be required. I need

to avoid getting windburned in the future. Any

boaters or fisher-men/women out there have any

suggestions? Thanks - Michele

P.S. Most of the windburn subsided overnight. On

Sunday I seemed a bit more sensitive, but was back to

" normal " on Monday. I didn't know what was best to

treat a windburn, so I just washed and used vital oil

and my topical (Klaron) and went to bed.
