Guest guest
Dear Antionette, From what I understand (and this is just what I have been told, not researched by reputable sources). Our bowels are supposed to hold their shape but not be hard. Visualize toothpaste coming out of the tube. Holding form but still soft .. . . not pudding. Again, this is just what I have been told, but it sounds right to me. Jeni Lynn Poop Question....need suggestion We went back to intro with KIKI and now that diarrhea (watery stuff) is gone have added the cooked fruits again..doing OK...Yet,have yet to recieve NO Phenol or Phenol assist enzyems....using other enzyems for now...waiting to order things. She doesn't have " dairrhea " but her poop is pudding consistency, very thick. Is this OK? She is only going one time some times two times a day and showing no more singns of cramping or distress? It seems like her poop is never formed (never has in her short life). Re read BTVC and would like somebody to interpret this part for me. We keep on " jumping " into more advanced foods with her too fast and would like her gut to heal before we give her those foods that screwed things up last time (almonds and nuts). GOOD NEWS the delerium/night-terror/Siezures are gone again too...will be staying away from almonds/all nut flours for now! That is what set us back in the first place...causing diarrhea to come back and the delerium/night terror problem. Back to her happy " new " self. Even saying her first " jokes " ...and thinking she is so cute! Thank God for SCD! Does anybody guess when we can add nut flours safely...I kinda recall 3 or 6 months????? Stages on pecan bread are confusing me. Sincerely, Antoinette (mother of 22 month old KIKI day 45 SCD/Celiac and ASD, entire family SCD and healing) For information on the Specific Carbohydrate Diet, please read the book _Breaking the Vicious Cycle_ by Elaine Gottschall and read the following websites: http://www.breakingtheviciouscycle.info<http://www.breakingtheviciouscycle.info/\ > and http://www.pecanbread.com<http://www.pecanbread.com/>
Guest guest
Do I remember that you still nurse KiKi? I'm no expert, but I think that may keep her stools a little looser (depending on how much she nurses.) I believe my daughters stayed loose until she weaned down to once a day. I think that is normal on breast milk. Breast milk is just like this from my understanding. Colby
Guest guest
Dear Jeni, Since she is in diapers God knows if it is formed like toothpaste...but imagine it is before it gets smashed! LOL! God that sounds gross! Sorry...I think she will be OK now, after being reminded of the breast milk causing them to be looser too! We are just so glad that the seizure problem is GONE! Cant wait to tell the doctor who wanted to have an EEG done ant put her on meds! Thanks Antoinette mother of 22 month old KIKI CD/ASD Re: Poop Question....need suggestion Dear Antionette, From what I understand (and this is just what I have been told, not researched by reputable sources).
