Guest guest
Does anyone know if it is possible to find a waffle maker with a stainless steel cooking surface? I'd like to avoid teflon coating, but maybe that's the only way to cook waffles in a waffle maker. Thanks, Amy ps My pancakes are getting better and better. I'm trying diffeerent oils and cooking them even slower on lower temps. Also, having a finer ground almond flour helped the texture.
Guest guest
Yes, I would be very interested in this, too! Maybe cast iron is the way to go for a non-stick waffle iron? (That must be where waffle " iron " came from?) Could you share your adapted recipe for pancakes? I haven't found one we like yet. I don't like sweet pancakes or waffles. I also don't like teflon but I was giiven a Cusinart Belgium Waffle maker that makes two waffles and it just does such a perfect job. It has a non stick surface but I spray the grids lightly with oil and the waffles are easy to remove, light and fluffy! This older model I have is reduced and available on Amazon.com for about $38 Cuisinart WMB-2A 2-Slice Belgian Waffle Maker, Brushed Stainless Carol F.
