Guest guest
Antoinette, I am going to print out your message and read it when ever I get discouraged and think that I can't do all this cooking and everything else one more day. I am going to read it when I become overcome and frustrated because I have spend the first half of my day getting my oldest son up and ready for work, schooled my two youngest and the second half cooking and baking. I then at 11 pm remember that someone needs something washed and dried before tomorrow. I am going to read it when Tobias is having a not so good day, h is over emotional with everything and I just want to be a 'normal' 57 yr old woman that has time to quilt or something. I need constant reminders that I am not just some radical, over protective mother that thinks she can help her kids heal with food. How extreem! Thank you. Be blessed Sandy M. > > Sandy said: > > ...Tobias is a very inteligent little guy. I can not imagine > giving him something that would interfer with that..... > > I reply: > > Dear Sandy, > > YOU ARE A WONDERFUL MOTHER, and thank GOD YOU NOW KNOW WHAT MY POOR PARENTS DIDN't! > Before I was medicated for 15 years....I too was gifted. A protégé in art and music. My husband and I hope that on this SCDiet my gifts come back. Our son is also intelligent, delayed in some areas/speech mostly (due to damaged gut/asd and adhd problems that are getting better), at age of four doing first grade math! KiKi is just now starting to talk (thanks to SCD will be two in MAY...don't know yet if her brain is going to be OK....since she is so young think she will. > > Pray for us, I lost something very precious when put on all those drugs (for over a decade, they turned me into the living dead)...it took all my creativity and gifts away...even caused me to have memory problems and learning disabilities I didn't have before them! We just hope that KiKi's brain is OK! I am better off than I ever have been in my life thanks to my gut healing. > > We protect our children too! Tell others about what Elaine says about the gut brain connection!....stop this insanity! > > What a shame that they (many doctors) want to medicate everything....if they only knew what a damaged gut did, and how many of us have one! I hope it isn't because they would no longer get drug cut backs for all thos prescriptions they write!...and is just lack of knowledge. > > Antoinette > > > > For information on the Specific Carbohydrate Diet, please read the book _Breaking the Vicious Cycle_ by Elaine Gottschall and read the following websites: > http://www.breakingtheviciouscycle.info<http://www.breakingthevicious cycle.info/> > and > http://www.pecanbread.com<http://www.pecanbread.com/> > > > > >

Dear Sandy, Your message brought tears to my eyes....you see this is what makes all my suffering that happened to me worth it. The fact that I can share my story and stop this insanity! No one should suffer like me and my husband did....thank God I was able to stop this monster when it tried to consume our kids! It is interesting how when one is motivated SCD just doesn't seem that bad! Things even taste better! YOU ARE A WONDERFUL MOTHER for stopping this monster in yours....don't forget (like I do sometimes) to put the " oxygen mask " on you own face first! Like the air lines tell us, in case of an emergency! Been nice sharing with you! You made my day!
