Sounds like when we make yogurt from cow's whipping cream. Carol F.
Guest guest
So if I made it the usual way, does that mean it will just be richer... but still good? Make it and taste it. I don't know what the effect will be aside from the fact it will be concentrated, double strength, higher in fat etc. I often wondered why there is no such thing as goat cream but it sounds like you just invented it. Why not put it in the fridge. make another batch and keep this until we can ask Jody about it? It does keep for over two weeks. Carol F. Guest guest
I think there is not goat cream because unlike cow milk goat milk does not seperate, it is naturally homogonized, so it would be much more difficult to naturally get the cream from it > >Reply-To: pecanbread >To: pecanbread >Subject: Re: Yogurt question/Carol >Date: Mon, 10 Apr 2006 00:10:36 -0000 > > > > > > > > Carol, > > > I made the goat yogurt from canned goat's milk the usual way, but I > > > realized that it's evaporated and needed to be diluted equally with > > > water. > > is it for you or your child? >Make it and taste it.
