Guest guest
Hi, I went shopping a few days ago, and low and behold, I tried on a size 18 and it fit. SOOOOOOOO being the pessimistic person that I am I tried on another dress, size 18 just to be sure that it had not been sized wrong. It fit too!!!! Needless to say I brought both those size 18 babies home with me. I am 7 months post op today and down 86 pounds. I am in a size 18, much better than the 24/26's I was wearing prior to the mgb. I have also lost a shoe size. Apart from feeling really tired, I feel wonderful. I have not had any complications at ALL from this surgery. I have " washed that gray right outta my hair " and have been told that I have a different attitude. It has been said by my daughter and sister that I no longer seem " mad at the world " . I spent a week at Daytona Beech, went swimming and loved it. I also rode rides at Sea World. I am now enjoying all sorts of different ativities that I thought I would never experience again. I love this thinner life. I was 336 at surgery and now I am 250. I am looking forward to reaching 200. Success to all, Lynda mgb 12-16-99 336/250/
Guest guest
You go Lynda! You were very helpful to me when I was a pre-op and I do remember that and thank you for that too! You must be tall...I am 5'10 " and want to weight 175. But whatever is in store for me is better than the 304 I did weigh! Keep it up...pretty soon it will be size 16.
