OT Wanted to share picture ideas for ASD KIDS

Hey Guys,

We have always had problems with KiKI and the photography shops!

She would just freeze, never smile and cling to me....OR WORSE!

PICTURE time was miserable for everyone...never got a good picture!

To all,

We saved a year ago and bought a 7 mega pixel digital cameral, a

Nikon D 70. It has more than paid itself. We take our

own " professional " pictures here at home. By sitting in front of

our famous pine tree out front, or sitting the kids in front of the

fire place....always turn out as good and BETTER because KiKi isn't

miserable! Even caught that smile a few times!

Paying a photographer to do it for you, costs around $100.00 to

$200.00 after buying all the pictures one needs to send out to

family and friends.....this camera (or one like it) costs a little

over a thousand.....

We have easily in just one year of pictures paid for it!!!!!!!!

Actualy now we are saving money!

We take the disc in to SAMS or COSTCO and have the prints

made....very affordable! 8X10's and all...mail them off and all the

cousins, aunts and uncles and granparents don't know any different!

What is more important KiKi and the rest of the ASDer's SMILE!

Nothing traumatic about it! Plus they don't have to wear those

itchy clothes more than a few minutes....that some kids can not

tolerate due to perception problems and sensory intragration

problems!
