Don't feel so bad...I married a Tom (maybe his real name was Ken?), had a

child and he ran off and decided he was gay! What is it with these men??

p.s. My dad's name was Ken and he DEFINATELY wasn't gay!

If that makes you feel any better about men named Ken.

Hi Holly,

We Illinois women are really something, huh? Deb turns all men she comes in

contact with gay, you married a guy and then he became gay and I gaily

announce that Barbie's Ken is gay.

Seriously, though, I imagine that was a very difficult time for you. Thanks

for sharing, sweetie. Hey, where are you in the process now?

Same place I have been...just have not gotten around to filling out forms or

anything yet...but reading every post I get and learning. I guess part of me

is waiting til I talk to my mom and tell her what I want to do. She is in

California right now but will be back next Tuesday so I am going to sit her

down and tell her all of my info. Still at 31 I feel I need her approval

plus she would be the one to go to NC with me.

Its been a year now I have been without the gay husband so I am much better

than a year ago. We are on good terms and he sees the kids a lot...so I

can't complain much.

Thanks for asking!

LOL Holly, glad to hear your dad was not gay. Guess only men named Ken that

dated ME turn out to be gay... also a Mike, Joey, and possibly a Gerry....lol

What in the world did I DO to those poor guys? Or maybe it was what I

DIDN'T do???

Deb in IL

P.S. I have dated one other Mike, 2 Marks, and my hubby. To the best of my

knowledge, none of them are gay... so I'm not totally cursed!

You know our attraction to the gay man must be that they are so much like

girlfriends but with different plumbing! They are sensitive (well, most of

them..not necessarily mine) and fun to be around and like a good friend...we

just didn't know they wanted to wear our clothes!!! LOL!!

Yeah, I guess you know a guy is gay when he wants to wear your pants instead

of getting into them!
