Guest guest
Hello, I am new and considering to give my ASD (4 yr old) boy a try on SCD diet. I have read the BTVC book and the pecanbread.com, and am still do not know how to start the diet (i.e. what is the " intro diet " ) ... could anyone give me a bit guide on this ... Here is a bit of my son's background: My son has been on GFCF diet (and low sugar) for about 1 year (with full range digestive enzymes). Currently (just started recently and suddenly) he is having soft and formed BM once per day. He never has a lot of food sensitivity issue (initially mainly gluten, casin, corn, and loads of chemicals), but he has a very limited diet (banana/orange/pineapple/rasin, rice products, chick/turkey nuggets, eggs, bacons), He had severe yeast problem before I finally waned him off high-sugary drinks and 3 months homeopath treatment. He still craves for sweet stuff (a sign of yeast problem?) though. Because I know that there are some problems with his GI (no help here from his Ped. doctors), I'd like to give SCD a try (thinking start of it this Friday). Thanks in advance for any advice to a new-and-do-not-know-how mom.
