Guest guest
hi we went through every possible symptom of die off between my 2 boys, especially the screaming - it was die off for youngest who is now 3 plus my eldest had the tummy rumbling with vomiting and it lasted 3 weeks for the little one - and a week for the oldest who is 8 i guess hecould be really gassy - whic can be a few things - either hes eating something which hes having trouble digesting , is there anything in particular which hes having in the eves consistently a certain juice, or food etc? or its die off, for which i can only suggest activated charcoal, and very basic foods until hes taken the edge off it also possibly enzymes may prove benficial if youre not already using them hth emma > > Hello, > > I put my two toddlers on the diet 8 days ago and one of them is > displaying some disturbing behaviors. I didn't think we'd see any die-off so.... My reply, It sounds like die off to me. And yes if you are doing a strict SCD especially with intro...this happens rather fast. The bad guys in the gut get hungry and start to starve to death...strange behavior can be witnessed due to the toxins that are being released by dieing microorganisms....use activated Charcoal and Epson Salt soaks in a warm bath before bed time. Lots of love and cuddles suggested...these kids can be hard to get along with during this transition time...but try to be patient...I know...we lived through it with two one years olds, a four year old...myself and husband all going through die off at the same time! It was like the flue but worse! THIS TOO SHALL PASS! Yeah....you are on your way to healing! Keep up the good work! Sincerely, Antoinette 2 months entire family SCD/Celiac and ASD a.. He is screaming bloody murder at bedtime; I can hear his stomach rubling very loudly and he's burping over and over again. He's crabby on and off during the day. Does this sound like die-off? I didn't think we'd see any die-off so soon. If it's not die-off, does this sound like anything anyone else has seen at the start of the diet? I know it's not a school stressor because he's off this week. My other son is fine.
