Guest guest
Hello everyone! I have been more of a lurker on the board just because my life is too hectic right now to comment...not to mention that I don't have that much experience with the diet yet to give much advice. I have a question today...my son, who used to eat bananas, peanut butter, muffins and apples on the diet, has now eliminated everything except the muffins (basic muffin recipe in Taste & Tradition) I make them with almond flour, fyi. I have tried sneaking in squash but he wouldn't eat them because they were orange. He did start eating the batter which made me start pureeing squash for him which he ate for a while, but now we're back to just the muffins again. Does this mean I should eliminate almond flour from the diet? Is he " addicted " to it? Or am I just not being strict enough in insisting that he try something new? I haven't done the intro diet as there is still NO WAY he will eat chicken soup...he doesn't do any meat yet. We've been SCD legal for about a month, I think. If anyone has any advice, it would be greatly appreciated. --Mel
