Guest guest
Hi Gus17mom! I have been told to take activated charcoal at least 1 hour after anything (food, supplements, etc.) and not to consume anything for at least 1 hour after taking it. It will absorb whatever is in the stomach during that time. Jeni Lynn (gastrointestinal problems) SCD 2 months Activated charcoal This question hit me on the way home, just after procuring some activated charcoal: Will this interfere with supplemental enzymes supplemental probiotics Concerta Zyprexa ? Guest guest
Is the Concerta a time release formula? I don't know the answer to your question but I am looking forward to the answer because I think that it would have been much better for me if I had used the activated charcoal during the first week. I had the same concerns as you did, so I never used it. Guest guest
The DAN manual says to take on an empty stomach and keep it empty for an hour..20mins in a pinch..It states that one need not worry about negative effects from up to 30 doses in a week.. if taken incorrectly it will interfere with the absorption of food and supplements or medicine. > > Sorry if this has already been asked... > > Can a young child take activated charcoal every night for a week or two if needed (and if you ensure you give at proper time so as not to interfere with vit/min absorption)? > > Does anyone know if activated charcoal is safe for a pregnant woman? > > Thanks, > Kim > >
