The spaghetti squash I bought today must have been a little old. I

not be as " sweet " due to seedlings using up the nutrients to

grow...this is only a guess...

Antoinette, You were so right! The squash itself was bitter and no

one liked it. We threw it away. So we have learned that if there are

sprouts in your spaghetti squash...forget it!

Same thing happened to me for the first time last night! The only

thing I could think was that this was the first time I've gotten an

organic spaghetti squash (first time it's been available in my

market). So bizarre. Seemed a little bitter -- I usually mix it with

spaghetti sauce, so we'll see how everyone likes it tonight at dinner.

Hmmmmmm.
