Guest guest
Aw, you make me blush. Thanks for the kind words. It wasn't my doing, though, it took the talents of several folks -- you coordinating it all and locating all the people and information and staying on top of everything. Then it was Dr. Rutledge's facts, statistics and his recent arguments I gave them, and of course, Debbie, in Dr. R.'s office putting up with all the phone calls and providing all the past history -- I was just the conduit. Ultimately, it was truth that won this battle. I'm really glad it worked out well and everyone is going to get to go. Guest guest
This is fantastic news! Lives saved is always fantastic news! Having worked with and for attorneys my whole law enforcement career, I have never had the same skepticism of attorneys that many other people have. I told the jokes, and enjoyed them, but I knew many many attorneys who used their abilities to help others. My best friend is an attorney and I wont' go into detail....but my daughter had a near-fatal accident last winter and if wasn't for her, my daughter would have experienced financial ruin because the driver was not insured. is a keeper. She tells it like it is and this scares some people. But many attorneys are realists and this is what makes them good at what they do (not all of them certainly, LOL). I'm so happy for " The Michigan Crew " . This is indeed bulk good news! And good news for you too ! Flo from land who's melting by the minute Florence Ballengee Hollywood, land florence@... Guest guest
I am sincerley thrilled for all of you Michigan Folks!!!! I know first hand how very difficult Blue Cross can be. Today is my one year anniversary of fighting for my gastric by-pass. I'm still waiting, but I will NOT give up! Hey , when you get rested up from the Michigan fight, how about helping out us poor Alabama Folks? I've even tried the State Insurance Commission, and they sent me a letter after two months stating that they were under the impression that my denial was based on a policy exclusion(There is no exclusion in my policy except that they can deny anything that they deem " not medically necessary " ). If they deny me this time, I don't know what else I can give them to prove medical necessity. Letters from six doctors all stating that I need the surgery, ten years of documented diet history, five co-morbids and a BMI of 40 and they still deny me saying that I have not been twice my body weight for the last two years. That is not even the Standard of Care! I'm going to send out my sleep study info as well as the results of a medical exam stating an additional co-morbid of extremely high cholesterol. Wish me luck. It must be luck that decides whether or not you get an approval from these people. Congratulations Michigan!
