I'm very familiar with the legal/ illegal list. My confusion, which is

still in place, stems from the fact that it has been hammered time and

again on this list that Welch's White Grape and purple grape juice are

the legal grape juices for SCD (along with Kedeem for purple). White

grape juice is not available from Welch's " not from concentrate " . So -

have the rules changed - Welch's is not legal now?? And if not, when

was this changed? I have always been under the impression that Elaine

herself verified the use of Welch's.

I'm no expert, but Elaine said that most often sugar and other

illegals (like apple juice) are added to concentrates to reconstitute

them, however Welch's reconstitutes using only grape juice concentrate

and filtered water. Perhaps that is why Welch's is still legal.

Yes, Elaine did okay the Welch's juice but we have to look at the ingredients

when getting the Welch's Juice of any kind. Because there is Welch's that is

from concentrate also. Go figure. Things change right under our eyes. We have to

be careful you see..

Juice from concentrate, is Illegal.

Juice from concentrate is normally illegal because when it is reconstituted

they often add other things (like sugar).
