Guest guest
Oooh. This sounds like a great idea. I've just googled raw cocoa beans and found lots of places to order from. Let me know what you find and if you find a supplier you really like and trust, please pass the info. on. Thanks, molly > > > > I have an idea. Guest guest
Well, I did a little looking on the BTVC site and the old Elaine's children site and cocoa or chocolate are not allowed in any form. Not so much that it feeds the bugs as much as that it had not been analyzed properly and can affect you badly in other ways and the original Dr Haas said it was not allowed. But, thanks for sharing the idea anyway! Janet, mom to: Cody- almost 5 yrs old- multiple food allergies- SCD 6 days & doing great > > I have an idea. Raw (Unroasted) Cocoa Nibs. Guest guest
Thanks Jody, Carolyn and for the 14 date cake idea and tips. I will definitely try this one out too. Anxious for my nut flours to come in so I can have some fun in the kitchen! I am finding that the foods on this diet taste really good! Much better than I expected so far, kicking myself for taking my son off of this diet last summer just because of a silly IgG test that didn't prove accurate or worth the money. Janet, mom to: Cody- almost 5 yrs old - GFCFetcF for 2+ yrs - SCD one week tomorrow - multiple food allergies and asthma under control off of grains - MB12 shots 1 1/2 yrs- double DQ7 genes and positive celiac markers- doing great and loving his SCD foods!
