Guest guest
I slept on my stomach the third night. If you need a recliner, just ask for extra pillows use two or three behind you and one under each arm. It works like a charm. Try it. Guest guest
Good morning, everybody! Several post-ops have highly recommended the use of a recliner during the first few days following surgery. Do any of the hotels in Durham have recliners available in rooms? Guest guest
Homestead suites has a nice recliner, and a full kitchen, too! I really loved their amenities, and wish I had stayed there rather than Duke Towers. We stayed at Homestead for the clinic, but tried to save a few bucks by spending my surgery time at Duke. Not the best move, although Duke was fine. Just older, and not quite as nice. My .02! Amy. Recliners at Hotels? Good morning, everybody! Guest guest
Hi Amy, Did you stay at Homestead or Homewood??????? I stayed at Homestead and my room didn't have a recliner. It had the full kitchen and a chair with an ottoman but no recliner. It was nice enough though. Love, Genz Amy Poe wrote: > Homestead suites has a nice recliner, and a full kitchen, too! Guest guest
OK, I'm not sure! ;-) I think it was Homewood. It was the one behind Outback Steakhouse, near Home Depot. Not terribly close to the hospital, but only about 15 minutes away I think. It was very nice, had a pool, nice breakfast spread, lots of room, data ports, etc. So, Genz...are you coming to Durham? ____________________________________ Amy S. Guest guest
Hi Amy, Yes I'm coming but I won't get to meet you this time. I went through Priceline and got my tickets for $250.00 but they booked me at some wierd times. I'm coming in at 12:29am Tuesday morning and my flight leaves Raleigh at 6:55 Thursday morning. I'll only get to play Tuesday and Wednesday. The wedding I have to go to on Friday really put a kink in my plans. But for sure I'll see you in September......(sounds like a song).
