Guest guest
Hi all, First of all... WAY TO GO LINDA T!!! You are very appreciated for your contributions to the list and I would like to just say THANKS! My hotel did'nt have a recliner so I called Rent-a-Center and had one delivered for 3 days. I was much more comfy in it then in the bed. I yesterday went to the gym and weighed myself for month 5, I'm not sure about the scale, but I think I lost 15 pounds last month. That seems like a lot so I won't be surprised if next month I make up for it. I am kind of paranoid about scales, actually, I HATE THEM. I guess it's from all those years of watching it go up or down but always still thinking the down part was'nt really real. (does that make any sense??)Now I know I'm going to lose the weight, it would be almost impossible not to. I'm getting lots of compliements at work and try to take them graciously, I'm very open about my surgery and weight lose. Has anyone made plans for the picnic in September? I am planning on coming and bringing my mother. I think it would be neat to designate a hotel for our group, make it like a huge slumber party! Fairfield Inn sounds good, or I'm open to any others. Also, I plan on renting a car and would be happy to act as chauffer to anyone that needs a lift. I love to hear all your pre and post op stories and will share mine with anyone that needs a contact. Good luck all, and have fun! in Ohio MGB 2/22/2000 325-245 80 pounds in 5 months Message: 16 Date: Thu, 20 Jul 2000 14:18:12 -0000 Subject: Recliners at Hotels? Good morning, everybody! Several post-ops have highly recommended the use of a recliner during the first few days following surgery. Do any of the hotels in Durham have recliners available in rooms?Dawn JesterWichita, KSSubmitted packet 7/17 Waiting for insurance approval ________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com
