Guest guest
I called them on the phone about their 100% lemon juice because I had wished I could use it for something. I told him I was aware of the regulation that if an ingredient is less than 2% of the product it does not have to be on the label (unless it is a common allergen). He corrected me and said unless it is under 5 MG! He said the FDA considers that amount negligible. I told him I did not concur with that, but that's another argument. Anyway, it was so hilarious because he he basically read me the label that says it is 100% pure, nothing added,- only lemon juice (from concentrate) and pure filtered water- which by the way what is the difference between pure filtered water and filtered water? Anyway, he assured me nothing else had been added, as it says no preservatives or additives, etc. I don't think I really believe him. If not, the label is false advertising. That makes me wonder what constitutes an additive or a preservative? Laurie
