Laboratory Tests Prior to Surgery - Dr. R. Please Review

Hi all,

I'm from out of town, so I wanted to get all my ducks

in a row as soon as possible. I was unclear about

what laboratory tests needed to be ordered by my PCP.

Debbie explained to me today that the following tests need to be

ordered NO MORE THAN 30 DAYS PRIOR TO THE SURGERY DATE:

- Basic Chem

- CBC

- EKG

She said that I can bring the results when I come down

for the surgery.

Hope this helps someone else who may be confused. The

Patient Education Manual does not make things this clear.
