Guest guest
Hi Gang, Just need to vent a bit. Cigna is giving me such a hard time and they don't even have Dr R's letter yet! Actually, that is the problem. Debbie has sent it but they keep telling me it hasn't been received. It turns out that the fax # is no longer valid (mind you this is the # that went through for on the first try!). The second #, they now tell me was given to me wrong. The third # Debbie tried today and it was a phone #, not a fax. Funny thing, the Cigna rep had assured me this # was correct, and was a bit put out that I asked her to DOUBLE check it. I'm so glad I listened to my hubby about documenting every call with the name of the person I talked to. I called back and asked for this person and told her that the number was STILL wrong. She looked it up AGAIN and said that she must have given me the phine #, and not the fax #. Obviously. Anyway, I got Debbie right as she was getting ready to leave and gave her this number and if it doesn't get through to them tomorrow I am going to shoot myself (if Debbie doesn't beat me to it!) I am not feeling too confident about getting my surgery scheduled for the week of August 7th now, as the appeal process took so long with Chris. Maybe more phone calls will help. Grrrrrrrrr! Thanks for the shoulder... Flo just said how different the process has been for her daughter compared to when she did it. I think the insurance companies have perfected the " art of confusion " . Stay on 'em, Debbie, it will be worth it when you and do this together. Good luck. in land
