Guest guest
Holly, Don't eat yukky microwave popcorn, you can only eat a little so buy good popcorn and pop it in a little olive oil, then use clarified butter most of the fat is gone. Or you could use one of those preservative filled plastic sprays like I can't believe it's butter. just my 3 cents Trisha
Guest guest
Trisha.. Just a microwave popcorn lesson since I am the expert..LOL..Orville Redenbachers Homestyle is really good. Very fattening...but worth it. I am not impressed with the other brands..I grew up with my Mom making it in oil on the stove! Also, we have a popcorn shop in our town that has been around ever since I can remember and it is famous in these parts! The best popcorn you've ever had! Plus, I can't sit in a movie with no popcorn!! I was hoping you wouldn't tell me I had to! Holly
Guest guest
Hi Holly, I love movie popcorn and I have eaten it on a few occasions since surgery. I usually eat it without the butter flavored oil. The last time I was entertaining a friends 10 year old son, he wanted the flavoring so that's what we ordered. I had a few handfuls and I did just fine. It doesn't seem to be as enticing as it used to be but it still tasted good. Hope this helps. Guest guest
No, I am in Decatur, Illinois and the name of the shop is Del's Popcorn. It is on Merchant Street which is the cutest street in town with quaint little shops and 2 great little restaurants. They also have a web site. www.delspopcorn.com But if you order popcorn from them make sure you tell them extra butter and salt. (Oh, I know Dr. R is cringing if he is reading this!!)
