At a conference that I was at, a speaker told us about a time when she was

going to a gathering of ASD adults. They were all to bring something to eat.

When the group got together they had a big laugh because every single one

of them brought something salty! - nobody brought anything sweet. She used

this to illustrate that our kids crave salt, they need salt, (a reasonable

amount

of salt) and not to deprive them.

Just wanted to pass this on.
