Still exploring my yogurt making appliance options.

I don't need specifics, but how does one make yogurt in a food

dehydrator. I like the idea of buying one appliance that can also do

other things. Is it much less convenient than a yogurt-maker?

Please tell me if you've had good or bad experiences using a dehydrator

for yogurt making.

(This will sound stupid----do you pour the yogurt ingredients in the

tray, or do you take the trays out and use something else(but what?) to

hold the yogurt ingredients?) Oh, I feel so stupid asking this.

you remove the trays. you then have a box that is heated. you would

have to set temperature and perhaps measure it with a thermotmeter

to check it (if you are anal like me.)

can put in any container that fits
