Guest guest
I love my Donvier hand crank. I got mine from e-bay. It has a chill pot and is so fast and easy. My DD loves to turn it. I haven't done frozen yogurt, but we did do several recipes from the book Vice Cream. Its a great book, not SCD legal but easily substituted, you have to substitute 1/2 cup honey when it calls for maple syrup. It uses cashews and coconut milk and almond milk for the base and fruits and Frontier brand flavors for the flavor (must always check legality of flavorings and all ingredients). It also calls for dates as a sweetener sometimes. We shouldn't have done the cashews so soon, but we are looking forward to making more vice cream once our tummies heal more. We are going to try a cocunut base this weekend for DS's birthday and see how our tummies take it. Good Luck.
