Guest guest
We are so graeful to all who resonded to our crises yesturday. We are all doing so much better today with this new " label " . Labels are just labels. We loose the child when we give a title to a person with this problem. This is so sad when this happens, because their credibility is forever robbed from them! All of us wiht ASd need to think of this one. Anonymity is a gift...we need to remember this one too! Too many judgeful people in our world. We are going to continue our " fanatical adherance " to SCDiet and continue our up hill battle to getting our little KiKi back! She has already imnproved so much without the DAN in last two months. The Dan! himself was impressed my our success! I am almost grateful that we had to wait for his appointment. I trust that he will be of great help, for he supports Elaine and all her wisdom and education. This is so good for us. So many doctors do not understand SCD...he seems to. Due to financial stress and lack of funds we have also descided to trust that those kids in the past that only had SCd and autism did heal or became better. That their testimonies where not a farse or a lie. That the strictest SCD alone can do the trick. We will continue to have faith in the God of our understanding that guided us to SCD in the first place, and continue with " Fanatical Adhearance " . Just yesturday of all days when I felt so glum and loosing hope...KiKi got made at her sister for taking a toy away from her...for the first time in her life she yelled: " me-mine-me " ! I just cried...because I knew that we where onthe right track....again a miracle...she is asserting herself...she now knows that she is a " me " and she now knows that she has a voice...and she is healing! Have not had a delerium epiosde in 6 weeks! AMEN! Sincerely Antoinette and my husband ...thank you all! P.S. Most of all thank you Elaine up in heaven for saving our little kiki and myself and entire family with malabsorption problems and a damaged gut! Guest guest
I keep saying to my family and friends, " This can't be true. How can I be so lucky. I have watched my son fall off the spectrum thanks for the most part to SCD. " So, Antoinette, I hope this makes you feel better. I have one great little fellow who has completely come into our world over the last 8 months. He was very verbal pre-SCD, but not conversational. Had horrific tantrums. Was unbelievably hyper. And, in general, impossible to take anywhere. He also had chronic, horrible diarreah. We started SCD right as he turned three and have never looked back. The change has been tremendous. Though, he does not have the official label, my guess is that at this point his label would be ADHD, but I expect the changes to continue and soon this behavior will change as well. He is in a typical pre-school, has friends, has more conversations each day, epic tantrums are literally gone (still has your typical three-year-old meltdowns, but, heck, those are a breeze), He is still pretty hyper, but, as I said, I expect him to calm as healing continues. And, no more diarreah. Oh yeah, and he potty-trained himself. SCD may not provide these dramatic changes for all, but I've not read a story yet where there was not at least some change or progress. So, keep up the great work, and watch Kiki continue to blossom. It can be so hard and sad at times, but boy is it worth it. molly > > We are so graeful to all who resonded to our crises yesturday.
