Guest guest
Hope this is helpful to those just starting SCD and tailoring supplements...My boys both lost their ear, hair, oral and other touch sensitivities being on SCD, with fresh food, enzymes and tailored nutritional supplementation. I can kiss their ears, take them to the barber shop, swing them by their feet and tickle them. Food textures used to be everything, not anymore. Guest guest
Would like to add to Summer's success story, For the first time in KiKi's life she let me rub her hands and face while I nursed her. She never let me touch her before, would get made and push my hands away. This was rather interesting predicament since she is a breast feeding toddler...and wanted me to nurse her while not touching her! Thank God for SCD success! Now I can now love on my baby! She hugged me for the first time too! Stimming behavior is lessoning also...have a ways to go though. Son's rage attacks and uncontrollable behavior is vanishing! He can actually sit still...the " ants " in his pants...or shall I say " gut " are gone...or dieing! Experimented with enzymes but didn't have much success made our guts hurt to much!! Our success with KiKi and our son have happened strict SCD alone.... " fanatical adherence " . Although tough worth it to see her coming out of her cave. My husband and I do realize and RESPECT that others have others needs though, so don't think this is judgment. Just our testimony...and trusting what Elaine taught us...realizing that our needs could change, but happy that this is working so well for now. Sincerely, Antoinette and our entire family SCD 2 months and healing miracles! Celiac and thanks to malabsorption ASD problems...KiKi was diagnosed as " autistic " ....again healing for first time...hope to loose this diagnosis! Guest guest
WOW! Summer, this is so good to hear. My kids both have some of these issues. How long before you saw noticable change? h is major oral sensitive. This is the major reason she does not eat veggies or fruit. She gets it in her mouth and gauges. Sandy M. Whole family SCD in support of 5 yr old who raged. > > Hope this is helpful to those just starting SCD and tailoring supplements...My boys both lost their ear, hair, oral and other touch sensitivities being on SCD, with fresh food, enzymes and tailored nutritional supplementation. Guest guest
I'm in complete agreement - WOW! I can't even imagine how great it would be to get Mason's hair cut with out a major scream-fest, and to have him open his mouth wide enough to get a good tooth brushing, not to mention an appointment at a dentist. Food issues are big for us too, not to mention the gagging... Congratulations - I'm so hopeful! Guest guest
We saw changes immediately, the second week of SCD our second go around, the first time, I admit, I danced around the intro, introduced foods too soon, not allowing a proper elimination. After doing it slowly the second time around, so much die off happened, and a full week of starvation and tantrums and nightmare, all of a sudden, they could start eating a greater variety of foods. As we stayed on SCD, the kids just kept progressing steadily. About 7-8 months SCD it just seemed these things vanished. But knock on wood, if we have illegals in the diet again, these things come back, or a food with a hidden issue, like heavy metals in scavenger seafood, any chemicals, etc. But the disapearance of the sensitivities just vanished otherwise. We are not completely healed yet, but we will be doing some version of SCD the rest of our lives anyway. What's interesting to observe, we didn't have to do anything to tame them (the sensitivities), the disapearance was spontaneous. It used to take me over a week to cut one of my boys hair in the past, and that was by taking a few snips here or there while they were sleeping. Still, it bothered them, I would barely touch them and it would cause them pain. Summer decamybby wrote: I'm in complete agreement - WOW!
