Guest guest
Just to clarify- applegate farms doesn't use any preservatives, nitrates, etc. I'm quite certain you would find their products in Whole Foods, I know they have it at Wild Oats here in Maine. Guest guest
Thanks- I was really wondering what you all do. Luckily I have this great farmer, but I wondered what everyone else did. It must get expensive. Too bad I couldn't get the farmer to do mail order. His prices are great. Becky mom to Noah (6, HFA) and (3, NT) SCD 6 weeks > > " Do you all use this stuff? Guest guest
Jody siad: They make organic, non-preserved, non-treated meat products. They are really nothing at all like the low-cut meat products that you see in a traditional grocery...........http://www.applegatefarms.com<http://www.applegatefarmscom/> Dear Jody, Thank you for sending me link to applegate. Sodium Lactate from beets are in all this stuff. Beets are legal...but how do you know about this Sodium lactate? What do you know about it????? I have fallen back to basics....after being so sick and am fishy about everything. Help here if you can...may try...if don't seem unhealthy! This makes me suspisious.......nothing is truly preserve free if it is in a package such as this. Plus high in salt...not good for people/kids known to have osteoporosis, rickets...low bone calcium...due to malabsorption in gut. High Salt in take causes a problem...can't remember why...but know it contributes to osteoporosis! Something I have thanks to Celiac! Kids are coming out of slow growth too...maybe in a year will try! Warm Regards, and hope you are having a good day! Guest guest
Hey guys, WE still are not going to use Apple GATE, until I know that our starving brains are not starving any more and our guts are healed...I don't know what Applegate farm's " lactic acid starter " does to the brain. Do you???? It may be casein free and gluten free...but who cares. After seeing KiKi's success do I want to experiment with such a thing...I don't think so. Something all of us with ASD problems should think about. Not fighting, just genuinely concerned for our kids...just like Elaine was, when she was alive. She did not like this stuff! And after seeing my own head and that of my husbands clear...It can't help but make me worry. WE want our KiKi back...and will work harder in the kitchen if we/I have to. Sincere worry for all, but powerless over others and will pray, Antoinette (2 mo scd entire family of five healing with foods made in the kitchen, Elaine's way....and it is working) For information on the Specific Carbohydrate Diet, please read the book _Breaking the Vicious Cycle_ by Elaine Gottschall and read the following websites: http://www.breakingtheviciouscycle.info<http://www.breakingtheviciouscycle.info/\ ><http://www.breakingtheviciouscycle.info/<http://www.breakingtheviciouscycle.in\ fo/>> and http://www.pecanbread.com<http://www.pecanbread.com/><http://www.pecanbread.com/\ <http://www.pecanbread.com/>>
Guest guest
Dear Antoinette, Deli meats and hotdogs may not be for you or your family, now or ever... you won't lose popularity by not using them. What you are doing seems to be working for you :-) ... and that's what's important. Agape, Bunce wrote: Jody siad: They make organic, non-preserved, non-treated meat products. Guest guest
Here is the description... tho I'm not sure what it really is yet..lol! Manuka Oil Leptospermum scoparium The Manuka Oil sold by ManukaOil.com is produced in large quantities and is an " East Cape Chemotype " Manuka Oil extracted from wild growing Leptospermum scoparium. Because of large scale production and processing the finished product is able to be blended to a high quality, which ensures the user of batch to batch consistency. This Manuka Oil is ideal for most uses as it has quite low levels of Pinenes and Myrcene but high levels of Flavesone, Isoleptospermone and Leptospermone. This combination gives a high level of antimicrobial activity, particularly against gram positive organisms such as staphylococcus and streptococcus. It also has a wide range of antifungal activity. Important Note: Within the species of Manuka are nine different chemotypes. It is very important to understand that only East Cape Chemotype Manuka has potent antimicrobial characteristics. Also because of this products unique steam distillation method, a much higher Tiketone level is achieved compared with another East Cape Chemotype being sold. davis wrote: Dear Antoinette, Deli meats and hotdogs may not be for you or your family, now or ever... you won't lose popularity by not using them.
