Dear Gwen,

When the lining of the gut is damaged the receptors the excrete enzymes are

damaged too. The pancreas can be functioning perfectly normal.

It's like having a tank of gas...the tank is ok...but the fuel injectors are

broken!

This is why our kids pancreatic enzyme tests where fine too...but they still

where not digesting their foods. The gut is broken! Not the pancreas.

Elaine said in BTVC that when we eat a strict SCD...our enzyme receptors go back

to normal in our gut and finally work right. Then we don't need enzyme

supplements anyways. But wont happen unless we have what she said: " Fanatical

Adherence " !

Hope this helps explain things, Sincerely, Antoinette
