anyone know of a Legal Alternative to Medimucil?

I know even the " sugar-free " kind is illegal, and my doctor insists that

I take to to keep my stools soft for awhile, which is fine but,

I need to find a legal alternative, if anyone knows of one?

someone suggested I try Psyllium Husks Powder

is that Legal?
