Guest guest
Hello Mimi, Helen and , Thanks for your replies - and no apologies necessary, ! I am delighted to know that I can eat yoghurt - thanks Mimi - as today's breakfast, day 1, was a cup of mint tea and an egg. Just a lonely egg on a plate. At least it meant that I was nice and hungry by the time it came to the chicken and carrot soup at midday. Helen, hi, I recognize you from somewhere, CFSExperimental?, and I too decided on this diet after reading the P and B book. I am also using the recommended methyl B12, folinic etc but they have had no effect. I had intended at a later stage to take whey powder but now have qualms about that so I'll be interested to hear how you get on with the SCD while taking Immunepro. Always so confusing when different treatments conflict, isn't it. Your yoghurt making experience sounds a barrel of fun - hope you get a yoghurt maker soon. I've just put in a bid for one on Ebay but from what I have read a different one available in the US is better ie. Yoghurmet, but I expect you've researched that already. Until I get mine I'll be using long-fermented kefir but don't know if it has similar healing properties.Good luck when you start the diet. I'm not expecting any horrendous die-off but who knows? best wishes
