Guest guest
There's a product called Terro ant killer that is non-toxic. Borax is the main ingredient. It is only for sweet eating ants though, so you may have to experiment though. I have heard planting mint around the house help, though it has not helped us. The terro works very well IF they are sweet eating ants. They eat the liquid terro then bring it back to the nest. Just make sure you don't kill the ants you see around the house, because you need them to bring to go back to the nest. Guest guest
I'm not sure if this helps, but we have had success with the TERRO I think it is called. It is a liquid " bait " if you will. It had no smell and was not touched by us. We tore up little pieces of cardboard and put puddles of this on it. Then watch out- it's like setting up the feeding trough. For a while there will be more of them than ever and I really freaked one night when I saw all of them in my bathroom. The thing is they took the " bait " with poison in it back to the queen and soon enough they all died and we saw no more. It may take a while for them all to die and to eradicate them all, but it eventually worked after a week or so for us. Just a suggestion, HTH, Laurie

It is not uncommon. You can check the ingredients because I have no idea whats in it and that is before I thought about such things. It's got to be better than having an exterminator over! UGH. Our neighbors had their crawl space sprayed for termites today and I was hopping mad since I had to bring my kids in the smell was so noxious outside. Definitely not good for my ASD son.
