In reference to what?

The " lovely " language isn't needed here. If you don't want to be here go back

to the site and take yourself off the list. No one wants to read this kind of

nonsense. Maybe I missed something but I haven't received any messages about

saving " god knows what on god knows what "

Well, normally I would have ignored this e-mail, but today, I am so

mad at CF( I only allow myself to be mad at CF for a very short

time, 10 mins max) that I am going to respond. Since you did not

sign it I am going to call you Mrs. Unknown. Dear Mrs. Unknown,

unfortunaly, we are all here in this group because we either has CF

or have somebody that we love with CF, I am the later one.

FORTUNALY, we have this list and other lists to help us cope. So,

this said I am going to tell you if you do not have anything

nice, informative, worrisome, etc. to write about please do not write

as I say we all are in this together and we are here for so much

needed support, sigh.

Ok, my 10 mins being mad are up.

Mother of my most precious treasure, a 9 wcf, Venanzio, 6

nocf and Pepe 3 nocf

Hi Ellen-

We started the SCD a 9 days ago with my son. We are vegetarians too

and I was concerned that my son might not eat meat, but he has really

taken to it and loves it (he was exposed to it once during a hospital

stay so it wasn't completely new).

I'm wondering if your daughter would be able to handle chicken soup

with some cooked carrots and mostly broth in the beginning (the intro

diet) along with cooked apples, jello made with grape juice and the

DCCC....and then after a few days she may be hungry enough to try some

meat for protein....My son is trying so many veggies that he always

refused in the past just because there are no other options and he is

completely happy with his meals. He's 11 and I have not been able to

do the diet as slowly as I would have liked, but he is still eating

only cooked and peeled fruits and veggies along with some meat.

As far as kosher goes, most of the food you will be using to cook with

are fresh fruits and veggies--do those have to be certified too?

Later in the diet, when it is safe to add beans, you might be able to

do some baking with bean flour. That nut allergy has got to be a

pain--so sorry for you.....

Good luck-
