Guest guest
Hi all, Please help. We are on day 3 of the stomach flu with our son. He isn't throwing up as much but I'm not sure what to do? As for diet and drink, we know what we are doing. But why is he still throwing up. I'm wondering if this just the natural course of this particular stomach virus or if his undiagnosed underlying issues are making the sickness worse. The other kids on the block " recovered " after one day. They are older. I also stopped our enzymes and don't know if I should have or when to start again. I would think the enzymes would not be a good idea with a inflamed stomach. He is so gassy and won't pass a stool . He is not dehydrated. Also stopped probiotics. Is this wise? When should I start them again. Also wondering if ViraStop by Enyzmedica would help. Thanks gwen son-3 SCD for digestive issues
Guest guest
i think we have had this flu in australia and its a really bad one and actually seems to have some bird flu genes in which means it affects the gut and brain and is so severe in its effect on the brain the full neural recovery is a process of years for adults. one thing which helps is neat freshy squeezed lemon juice from decent lemons 'mycellised vitamin a' will likely help this flu goes on for a while > > Hi all, > > Please help. Guest guest
We were told to let the stomach rest after throwing up and not feed any solid foods for 8 hrs after vomiting. We did not do this once when my son was 2 and he ended up in the hospital for dehydration. Guest guest
well, it's over. today he is eating. i'm giving him easily digestable foods and he is asking for more. I still don't know why his stomach virus has lasted longer than the other kids on the block. but that seems to be his way. gwen luca-2 scd 3 months for digestive issues Becky Grant-Widen wrote: We were told to let the stomach rest after throwing up and not feed any solid foods for 8 hrs after vomiting.
