Donna,

Have you read the SCD GAPS book?... Dr NC gives info about necessary

supplements.

It can be gotten at the Body Ecology website.

For information on the Specific Carbohydrate Diet, please read the book

_Breaking the Vicious Cycle_ by Elaine Gottschall and read the following

the solaray chromium gtf is a simple way to get more energy

about 1/4 of a capsule once every two days for an adult

its a yeast grown form but the yeast is killed and it doesn't seem to

encourage yeast at all

chromium picolinate is not suitable as it damages dna

most likely supplementing to promote the thyroid is also needed but

this is complex, iodine, manganese, selenium, lithium ........

quite large amounts of iodine are lost sweating with exersise

its supps rather than food that are needed for energy

Donna,

There is another informative book : Hypothyroidism: Type 2 by Mark Starr, MD.

I think you'll really appreciate it,
