Hi ,

Yumm! I'm right behind you (MGB 7/24/00) enjoying my French Vanilla

Ensure Light with a touch of Citrucel - just like an orange

creamsicle (NOT!!!). Hey, you've made it to the oatmeal stage, I

can't wait to get there!

Glad you're doing well. 21 pounds so far - WOW - between us the

world's 31 pounds lighter this week! I feel great, too!

Sincerely,

Bernardine

Dear ,

Congrats on your weight loss. I loved your post it was funny.

Especially the curds and whey part....LOL. I was thinking about your

high altitude and wished that I could be there on Pike's Peak dancing

around. So far I have enjoyed a 25 pound weight loss. I owe this of

course to the gifted Dr. R but also to Hot, Sunny, Muggy, Rainy

Florida...LOL. Walk outside and it's a guaranteed 5 pound weight

loss. (per day maybe)

Are you breaking out the vitamins and Actigall yet? Carafate

which I swore was not going to get the best of me, well...It really

sucks...that is the nicest thing I can say about it...LOL. I am

drinking my shots of Citrucel with no problem. 1 teaspoon to a small

shot-glass full of gatorade or your favorite beverage, makes you feel

like your having an morning, afternoon and evening toddy. (Ok..yeah

well you can PRETEND anyway)

My stab wounds are healing marvelously. How are yours? I keep

myself glued down with Vitamin E both inside and outside. I still

wonder why our post op meds didn't include a little Diflucan. Thanks

to the lovely antibiotics the Candida Albicans is having a feild day.

Take care, !

Love,

T.

Quickie medicine for bandito candida, commonly known as " yeast

infection " . Frequently caused by strong antibiotics. So if you notice

a little " itch " don't scratch, call you ob/gyn or pcp for a script.

Hi Poor Margie,

Diflucan is a prescription medication for yeast. Dr R also prescribes it for

Thrush, when your tongue is white. I don't know if I had it or not, but I did

fill the prescription because I was SOOOOO thirsty. It was a standard script

in the discharge packet when I had surgery (11/99)

Hey you two...., you were lucky that he gave you Diflucan. I

didn't have thrush but, (ahem!) I did have yeast on the south

side...LOL. , did you just take one tablet and that was

sufficient?

Love,

No , I took the whole darn bottle. It wasn't many, seems like 3x a day

for 5 days. I eventually overcame the thirstiness though. I guess from also

brushing my teeth 10-12 tmes a day!!! LOL
