Guest guest
Dear Antoinette, This is not about arguing, and we should not be taking quotes out of context... It's about open, safe, nondominating discussion and sharing. On balance, Dr NC's book does not recommend 'SCD only' or 'just SCD'...there are other things she deems necessary for the 'psychology syndrome population' ....that's all I was trying to say... is that we should all read the book and not give a narrow, misleading view of it, or use it to advance our own agendas. Of course we need friends at Pecanbread... mothers of recovering children are often not well received... the support here is comforting. This way the books and not me can be argued with. I don't want confrontation any more. I need you guys and the friends I have made at Pecan Bread. I am only sharing what our experience, strength and hope have to share.....we all have a story to tell. Some of our info can help others. God knows I have been helped by this serve! Thanks for letting me know that I need to give pages for now on.
