I am trying to schedule surgery as soon as possible and need to know

how to get a prescribtion for my medications. I know that there have

been several pre-op medications that have been recently added. Did

ya'll get the prescribtion from your doctor or from Dr. R? Someone

else told me to page Dr. R after surgery and give him your pharmacy

number, but he has clinic today. Any ideas appreciated.

Stormy,

My primary Dr. wrote all my pre-op and post-op prescriptions. It was

easier to have the meds upon arrival in NC. I didn't want the hassle

of trying to fill the meds out-of-state.

Stormy, call you primary physician and ask for samples. They have

them that the drug reps give them to give to people. Most docs won't

mind and if you can talk to the nurse she can give them to you. Your

docotor already knows what you are doing so he will be glad to give

you samples of everything he has in his drug closet and he probably

has almost all of it. Mine did!
