Guest guest
Did Elaine recommend taking acidophylus in addition to the goat's yogurt. Or is the goat's yogurt sufficient by itself? Guest guest
I believe Elaine said that Dr. Haas told her to give both yogurt (she used cow) AND supplemental acidophilus, so that's what she did with her daughter, and what she always recommended. Guest guest
Yes, Elaine wanted us to take it in addition to the yogurt. If you have diarrhea she even said it was OK to take up to 3 X's more than the bottle recommends. This sometimes stops the bout, along with fanatical adherance to SCdiet. We personaly use two different yogurt starters and alternate between the two because they are a little different. Progurt and Yogormet. The greater the variety of " good gut " bugs the better. Always taking Elaine's suggestion in her BTVC book to not use Bifidus strains the first year. Hope this helps. Antoinette > > Did Elaine recommend taking acidophylus in addition to the goat's yogurt.
