Guest guest
Hi, I have to share this letter written to Dr. R by my children. I am truly blessed! Dear Doctor Rutledge, Our mom has told us about the surgery whe wants to have so she can lose weight. We have talked alot about this and we decided she should do it because she can lose weight and be more healthy. Our mom is a wonderful mother and we want her to live forever. This was a hard letter to write because it made us think about what if our mom died. That made some of us cry and we really do not want that to happen. Our mom also told us about how sick she could get if she does not lose weight. We know she has tried very hard to lose weight before but she does not do diets very well. It is very hard for her. None of us think that our mother is fat. She is very beautiful to us. She always wears nice clothes even though they are from the thrift store. She shops at the thrift store so there is more money for other things. In case you did not know there are 6 kids in our family. Even though some of us are step kids we all call mom MOM. We are very proud of our mom because she was poor when she was growing up, but she got her education and has a nice job that she likes alot. She is also a good mom to us. Sometimes too strict, but we know that is for our own good. Our mom always tells us that we can do anything we want, but first we have to get educated. We looked up www.clos.net and read about this surgery and about obesity. We also looked up other surgeries. We all really like this one better because of less chance of dying and there is also not as many other complications and she will not be in the hospital for a long time either. We have promised to help more around the house while she is healing from having the surgery. We will also make sure to help with baby more too. We hope that you will take good care of our mom while she is having the surgery and we also hope she does not lose too much weight. That sentence is from Jodi because she does not want to share her clothes because Mom keeps telling her she really likes some of the things she wears and she says not to wear them out before she can fit into them. Jodi hopes she is kidding. We all wrote this letter together except for Christian who is 2 1/2. Signed, Jodi 16, 15, 15, 15, andra 15 ________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com

Guest guest
Dear Donna, You are truly blessed! What a group of fine children. That was precious. My oldest son wrote a letter of support along with one from my husband. It was not as cute as your childrens but of course my oldest is 31, his letter made me cry too. One cute sentence that I think you will enjoy is this: " 1) Surgery with you: Pro- A potentially longer life, a potentially healthier life, a potentially happier mother, a potentially happier family, a potentially better planet. " He tends to exaggerate with the planet thing, but it was cute. Donna I had three teenagers at one time and I thought it was such a fun but trying time, you need this surgery just so you can keep up with all of them, yikes plus a two and a half year old Wheww. Sounds like you need all our prayers! Marjory > Hi, > > I have to share this letter written to Dr. R by my children.
