Guest guest
I'm starting to get a little bit excited -- big grin. I've talked to my therapist and she didn't raise any red flags. I have an appointment with my PCP for tomorrow afternoon to get her take and support on MGB. I also looked at the obesityhelp.com website and there are others who have been approved by BCBS of GA for RNY. Thanks for the info, Tami, about the site. Thinkin that if they approved RNY, certainly they's approve MGB. I've written my patient letter (well, about 95%) and I will be seeing my parents the weekend after next and will discuss the surgery with them. I still need to work on my 10 contacts, so I hope that some of you will help me out with this. I'll contact you personally. I read your posts with envy -- folks who have their insurance approval, folks who are post-op -- and am truly heartened by the comradie and support that happens here. I think that I have found the solution, finally, to a lifetime struggle with weight and look forward to when I have littermates. Maggi MGB Wannabe BMI 39.7 with high blood pressure and maybe with sleep apnea (i'm going to talk to Dr. about it tomorrow when I discuss surgery)
