Guest guest
I am neutral , have not read anything for a few weeks, and only read enough to know there is some conflict right now. But I don't know what the conflict was. SO my comments are neutral. Did everyone see this video? <http://www.autismspeaks.org/sponsoredevents/autism_every_day.php> http://www.autismspeaks.org /sponsoredevents/autism_every_day.php Seeing this video made me realize that we Moms have been through so much hell they are suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. It doesn't make it right to be rude, but it helps to realize that people have bad days or bad weeks or bad months! and are grieving in fact---and snap. I tend to blow off annoying messages from autism boards 'way more than I would from boards of people who are not in crisis. We are all in this together and we need to be supportive yet we are all in crisis of one level or another and are giving our children " breaks " all day long. Our tolerance level burns out and we snap at people we intend to be helping or who are trying to help us. Also, frankly, lots of parents of ASD children have Aspberger's traits of one sort or another (I do) and they may insult others for instance and not even have a clue. It still hurts to be snapped at, but it helps me when I think of the extenuating circumstances not to take things personally. <http://www.autismspeaks.org/sponsoredevents/autism_every_day.php> http://www.autismspeaks.org /sponsoredevents/autism_every_day.php _____ From: pecanbread [mailto:pecanbread ] On Behalf Of kikijabunce Sent: Saturday, May 20, 2006 9:08 PM To: pecanbread Subject: Re: Portebella Giant Mushroom Caps We used them to make Pizza and used goat cheese for the first time and no one yet is having trouble. YEAH! It was so very good. Pust on homemade suagage and cauce and cheese. It was a real treat. WE are going to buy these guys again. Someone said to turn them into " buns " after grilled for hamburgers. We will do this next. Mushrooms are very high in B vitamins. So we like to eat them often. Warm Regards to everyone!
