Guest guest
I was hoping someone out there was having the same orange team ordeal. I'm only 2 weeks post-op so the first time, three days ago, caught me off guard. I had returned back to work and was sitting in my assistant's office chair, when suddenly I had to go for the bathroom. To my humiliating and embarrassed postops that have experienced this ordeal for the very first time, while in a very small group oriented office, you may already know my punchline and be laughing already, however, what I'm telling you is all; true. I looked in the toilet, after what appeared a very short but runny poop, and all I could see was a cluster of orange greasy spots floating on top of the water. At first, I couldn't believe that could have come from " the end " but after wiping yell and orange, I knew it to be true, a minor change in my bowel habits, I had assumed, from not taking my Citrucel the day before, or so I had thought briefly. Little did I realize that every area that I had sit in that office on that morning, greasy stains were left from this so called change in my bile. I was so embarrassed, especially when someone asked what had happened to their office chair, then another was mad for a living room suite being ruined. I only learned two days ago for the first time since my surgery almost three weeks ago, from now on, no matter where I may be, to always have a change of clothes panties, and to always wear extra protection, so this may never happen to me or anyone else, ever again. It was totally offf the wall, unexpected, humiliating, and very embarrassing. Thanks Flo, for having enough courage to bring this topic up. I've been too embarrassed to even ask Dr. R about it. Guest guest
Ya know Donna, I used to be the kind of person who would never bring these things up. But hell, this is the biggest thing in our lives right now. And besides none of you can see how red- faced I get discussing these things.....no, it was not another hot flash Amy. And Amy bravely brought it up about a month ago. Everyone played dumb. Now all of a sudden, lots of us have " the problem " . I probably would have made out my will had I not read on the list that this was a possible side affect. The stain washes out by the way. You poor thing..you must have been mortified. I thinkI'd resign and never go back. Guest guest
Nope. Citrucel did not resolve the orange issue. In fact, at first I blamed Citrucel for it. Sure is the same color. Raisin Bran or Oatmeal? Did Dr. R say that? Lori, please do not put my name and orange poop on the same line (as you did above). You know I'm shy and don't want anyone to know I have " the problem " .
