Bless your heart Jean, I know how you feel. I too will have to self pay if

Insurance sticks to its guns over the exclusion in my policy. I will have to

decide whether to put off surgery and save or to borrow the money. I do so

feel for you. I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers that somehow it will

work out for you!!!!!!

Hello,

I have been mostly a lurker the last few months, but have enjoyed and

learned so much from everyone. I am elated for the people that have had

the surgery and are doing so well. What a positive and healthy life

change! For those of you still " in the process " keep going and don't

give up--it's worth it in the long run.

It seems I have exhausted all my resources to have this surgery at this

moment. My insurance excludes all weight loss services, therefore I

would have to be a self-pay. I was hoping that my insurance would cover

hospital and anesthesia, but it does not. I could have come up with

$3,000-4,000 alot easier that $12,000-$14,000.

So I have to postpone my surgery until I come up with a solution on how

to fund it!

Therefore, tomorrow (Friday) I am going to unsubscribe to the list for a

while. I am terribly disappointed right now, but hopefully the good

Lord will help me find a way.

Thank you all you wisdom, but most of all your sense of humor!

Still a wanna-be,

Jean from WI
