Guest guest
I just had my pre and post op medication filled at my local Rite Aid Pharmacy. I have " Paid " prescripion insurance which has a 15.00 co- pay for name brand prescriptions, so this may not help you much. Some of my pre op stuff is expensive. I think that he put it on my prescribtion card even though I told him that I would come out cheaper not using insurance. For instance, two of the Prevacid tabs for pre surgery cost 8.63, when a whole month of post op Prevacid cost just 15.00. If you can get samples from your Doctor for the pre op stuff, you'll come out a lot better. Anyway, here it is. Vioxx, 1 tablet 5.21 Prevacid 2 tablets 8.63 Levaquin 1 tablet 9.42 Metocloopramide 1 tablet 2.52 Transderm-Scop Patch 4 patches 15.00 Prevacid 30 tablets 15.00 Carafate 3 huge bottles 15.00 for all three Ursodiol 60 tablets 15.00 (I did not have this one filled because I don't have a gallbladder. I need to check with Dr. R on that) Hibicleans 6.00 Milk of Magnisia 3.50 Grand Total is 95.28 with insurance card. I think I sort of got ripped off, but maybe ya'll can learn from my mistakes. Does anyone out there know if I have to get the Ursodiol for gallbladder even though I don't have one? Stormy
