Thank you Flo...you hit the nail on the head..yes I am scared. I so much

want a better life but am SO scared. I don't want to go through all of this

and then chicken out. I would be so mad at myself but I know what a baby I

am. I have seen a lot of people having slow weight loss too and that

concerns me too. It doesn't seem like people are losing as fast as the

charts show...or maybe I just key into the few that aren't cause it leaves

such an impression. Of couse, slow weight loss is better than no weight loss

or weight gain. I just know I am a very impatient person!! Well, I have to

send Dr. R's letter to my ins company now cause they don't have record of

receiving one!! ARGHHH!! ANd HE sent three!!!!

Holly: I can tell from your posts that you are really scared! It will be ok.

NOt everyone

experiences the same things. I was so scared that I think and Joyce

thought I'd

chicken out. And yet, I wanted this so badly. I did not have pain when I ate. I

don't have gas

very often at all, I have never thrown up. I took no pain medication after

surgery at all...and I

am a baby...the biggest baby of all time! Being a member of the orange team is

the only

adjustment I have had to make and that is easily fixed...by eating low fat

foods. I am 2

months post op. I have more energy that I've had in years and many of my other

discomforts

are gone. Don't be scared...this is not a painful experience. And the after

affects affects which

people describe sound worse in an email than they actually feel. Relax.
